The Sigma Pi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is a Greek-letter organization committed to promoting scholarship, sisterhood, and service. We are located at Florida International University in Miami, Florida.
On December 19th, 2004, fourteen intelligent women chartered the Sigma "Pretty" Pi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. For 13 continuous years, the Sigma Pi Chapter has continued to serve the campus of Florida International University and the South Florida community.
Under the guidance of the Gamma Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, the Sigma Pi chapter was chartered. Since its chartering in 2004, the chapter of has grown tremendously. We have had a plethora of successful and phenomenal woman join the chapter and build upon a legacy already established.
